Archaeology Field Club
The Archaeology Field Club is a student-led organisation based in Cape Town, affiliated with the South African Archaeological Society. We create practical opportunities for archaeology students to extend their knowledge, meet professional archaeologists, engage in heritage management, contribute towards heritage conservation and visit all types of sites in the Western Cape. We welcome all students to join our events and hybrid activities. We aim to inspire future generations of archaeologists to continue the excellence established by southern African archaeology!
The Archaeology Field Club is affiliated with the South African Archaeological Society. Although the Field Club does not have membership fees, you are required to be a member of the South African Archaeological Society and send us your proof of membership.
